I really do need to learn to quilt. I watched my Nana and aunt do it, but never even tried it myself. Don’t know if I’ll ever get nearly as good at it, but I want to try. I wish I still had some of the quilts my Nana made for me.

Not surprisingly, I’d like to learn to use some of our own (Tutelo-Cherokee) patterns, including some different stars. But the Lakota stars really are stunning work.
